Patio Doors
The RICHMOND
aluminium patio door combines proven material and production techniques, with

All weather protection
The RICHMOND
door is made from tough aluminium extrusion, with a choice of three surface finishes
- white or brown polyester paint, or silver anodised - to give you the clean,
crisp finish you desire.
Construction can be either with a standard 'solid'
section or with a 'thermal break', impressive for its improved insulation qualities.
In fact, the entire RICHMOND range was designed to meet BS4315, in respect of
air infiltration and water penetration.
Smooth operation
The elegant slim lines of the aluminium extrusion provide secure fixings for stainless
steel tandem rollers. These sit on a matching track to allow easy sliding operation
of the moving panel.
An anti-slam device is fitted as standard to prevent
accidental damage to the locking mechanism.
First for security
As always, COASTAL treat security as a priority. Whether your requirements
call for 5 point locking with split cylinder key deadlocks, 4 point locking only
accessible from the inside of your home, or something in between we can meet all
your needs. Whatever your choice, an anti-lift bolt is fitted as standard for
extra security.
An optional ventilator is available, allowing a gentle
flow of air into your home without security risk, even at night.
Glazing
options
All patio doors must be glazed with either toughened or laminated
glass in accordance with British Standards regulations BS6206 or BS6262 and be
covered by the Kitemark BS5713.
As for your choice of glazing style,
this remains unrestricted. Georgian bar, square or diamond leading, patterned
obscured glass or just ordinary clear panels, all are available in the RICHMOND
range.
